The secret to taking great photos with this camera is in learning how to control all the incredible adjustments available to you that this digital camera has. It really does replace the D300s in all ways except tank build and speed of FPS that the D300s gives you.
The downside is the tendency to overexpose, since Nikon D7000 has been set up to protect blowing out the highlights to allow user to get as much control during processing, it tends to overexpose the images. But with the right settings, this camera delivers good pictures. I would say that Nikon D7000 Digital SLR Camera is cost effective considering its high performance. I would give this a four star.
